LifeMAP for Teens
How can LifeMAP for Teens coaching help?
During this transitional time from high school to the next phase of life, LifeMAP coaches can help to create opportunities for personal growth. Coaching offers practical assistance by focusing on skill development and setting measurable goals.
Coaches work collaboratively with clients and client’s parents, schools, and other important existing supports to identify, develop, and pursue concrete realistic goals. Some goals are:
- Make friends/find social connection
- Pursue a driver’s license or navigate public transportation
- Manage academic responsibilities
- Improve daily living skills
- Advocate with teachers and employers
- Explore volunteer and employment opportunities
- Create plans for after graduation
LifeMAP coaching is available online and in person in Massachusetts and other select locations in the United States.
