AANE offers workshops and webinars on topics that allow for personal growth, self-improvement, and connection for our community of Autistic adults and teens, parents of an Autistic children, and professionals. Our programs include are all virtual so can be accessed by anyone anywhere.

Webinars

Webinars on a wide variety of topics of interest to the Autistic community are held roughly every other month. Expert speakers knowledgeable in the subject will answer questions posted in the chat from the audience during the live presentation.

Webinars are 90 minutes long and include a question and answer period. All webinars are recorded and can be rented and watched on AANE’s Vimeo channel.

Workshops

Workshops allow Autistic adults, teens, family members, and professionals to gain skills and a deeper understanding of autism and the Autistic community.

All workshops are:

  • online
  • 90 minutes long
  • no medical diagnosis required to attend
  • single session registration except where noted
  • $10 – $25 per session with financial aid available

For those new to autism, these introductory workshops are regularly repeated.

Intro to Autism for Adults: every other month

Hacks & Strategies for Adults (open to family): every other month

Financial Literacy for Adults: twice a year, topics differ

Daily Living Series: twice a year

Employment Series: once a year

Parents and Caregivers

Intro to Autism for Caregivers of Autistic Children / Teens: every other month

Strategies and Supports for Caregivers of Autistic Children / Teens: every other month

IEP Workshop: three to four times per year

Teens

Daily Living Series: series runs twice per year with four sessions on various topics
