Description

When a child, parent, or relative receives a diagnosis of autism or ADHD, it can be a moment of recognition—not just for the individual, but for the entire family as well. Many neurodivergent parents embark on a parallel journey, discovering their own neurodivergence through their child’s diagnosis. This workshop, facilitated by Jay Eveson-Egler, an AuDHD parent from a predominantly neurodivergent family, aims to explore how these realizations can influence parenting, relationships, and family dynamics. We will be exploring the challenges and strengths associated with neurodivergent parenting, the complexities of co-parenting with differing neurotypes, and various strategies for creating a home that supports and celebrates all forms of neurodivergence.
