The AANE Outdoor Enthusiasts Club is a group, created to bring together adults in the Greater Boston and Southeastern, MA areas, who share a love of the outdoors. Facilitated by Katie McClean, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, the group will organize fun and interesting outdoor activities.

Join us on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th for the 1:35pm Red Sox v Chicago White Sox game at Fenway Park! We will be sitting in Grandstand 29. AANE has graciously covered the cost of the tickets to the game but any additional purchases (food, drink, merch, etc.) will NOT be covered by AANE.
This event is RAIN OR SHINE. Additionally, please keep in mind that Fenway park can be loud, crowded, and/or hot. ONLY RSVP to this event if you are comfortable being in this type of environment. NO TRANSPORTATION will be provided at this event. Attendees MUST be able to independently get to and from the event.
Audience
AANE Adult Support Groups, Social Groups, and events are intended for post-high school Autistic adults who are able to self-regulate AND independently participate in activities without the assistance of a dedicated caregiver.
Registration
*Please read the AANE In-Person Program & Event Attendance Agreement below. You must join the group to attend on the Meetup page.
AANE recognizes that fees for this program have changed. AANE can offer participants reduced or free program registration. As long as space remains in the group, no one requesting financial aid will be turned away. To request financial aid, send an email to [email protected]. For example:
Hello,
I would like to request financial assistance for (insert full title of group).
Sincerely, (your name).
If you are able, please consider donating the cost of an additional registration to support the financial assistance of others.
Refund Policy
AANE will refund support group or social activity registration fees in the following circumstances:
– AANE cancels a group. – AANE reschedules a group and a registrant can no longer participate. – If a registrant requests a refund at least 3 business days before the start date of a support group or social activity.
Event & Group Information
All groups are online unless noted
Multi-Session – register once for multiple sessions, includes “Closed” groups which have the same participants for a set number of sessions
Single Session – register for one session or event, includes “Open” groups which may have different participants joining from session to session, webinars, workshops, or special events
LOCAL [City, State] in front of the event/group name is intended for those living in the vicinity of the indicated area. If LOCAL is not indicated, the event is available to those living anywhere
Codes of Conduct
Participants at AANE events are expected to act respectfully toward other participants and group facilitators. AANE reserves the right to deny admission, ask an individual participant to leave, or remove participants from the event/program for inappropriate or disrespectful behavior.
