AANE Webinar: Crisis Supports and Suicide Prevention for Autistic People, 5/8/24, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM ET

Lisa Morgan, an autistic woman diagnosed later in life at 48 years old, is a subject matter expert on crisis supports and suicide prevention for autistic people. She is a co-chair and founder of the Autism and Suicide Prevention Workgroup, which has developed four autism specific resources. As owner of Lisa Morgan Consulting LLC, she trains professionals, coaches autistic adults, and consults on various projects including developing autism specific resources, developing websites for autistic people, and research studies. Lisa has authored several books to support autistic people in mental health and suicide prevention. Her passion is teaching and training professionals how to communicate with and support autistic people in crisis

AANE recognizes that fees for this program have changed. AANE can offer participants reduced or free program registration. As long as space remains in the group, no one requesting financial aid will be turned away. To request financial aid, send an email to [email protected]. For example:

All groups are online unless noted

Multi-Session – register once for multiple sessions, includes “Closed” groups which have the same participants for a set number of sessions

Single Session – register for one session or event, includes “Open” groups which may have different participants joining from session to session, webinars, workshops, or special events

LOCAL [City, State] in front of the event/group name is intended for those living in the vicinity of the indicated area. If LOCAL is not indicated, the event is available to those living anywhere

Participants at AANE events are expected to act respectfully toward other participants and group facilitators. AANE reserves the right to deny admission, ask an individual participant to leave, or remove participants from the event/program for inappropriate or disrespectful behavior.
