AANE Webinar: Accessing Adventure – Tips for Neurodivergent Travelers, 5/30/24, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM ET

Cara Streit, EdD, MSW, LCSW, is a mental health therapist, educator, and founding president of Embark Inclusive Travel, a non-profit organization designed to support adults with and without disabilities in experiencing the life-changing benefits of travel. Cara studied abroad in Paris while in college and caught the travel bug. She has since visited 29 countries on 6 continents and has been leading international and domestic group tours with adults with diverse disabilities for the past 13 years.

AANE recognizes that fees for this program have changed. AANE can offer participants reduced or free program registration. As long as space remains in the group, no one requesting financial aid will be turned away. To request financial aid, send an email to [email protected]. For example: 

Hello, 

I would like to request financial assistance for (insert full title of group). 

Sincerely, (your name). 

If you are able, please consider donating the cost of an additional registration to support the financial assistance of others.

All groups are online unless noted

Multi-Session – register once for multiple sessions, includes “Closed” groups which have the same participants for a set number of sessions

Single Session – register for one session or event, includes “Open” groups which may have different participants joining from session to session, webinars, workshops, or special events

LOCAL [City, State] in front of the event/group name is intended for those living in the vicinity of the indicated area. If LOCAL is not indicated, the event is available to those living anywhere

Participants at AANE events are expected to act respectfully toward other participants and group facilitators. AANE reserves the right to deny admission, ask an individual participant to leave, or remove participants from the event/program for inappropriate or disrespectful behavior.
