Research Study Description

This is a virtual study that aims to understand positive mental health factors that may protect against anxiety and depression in autistic adolescents.

Both an autistic teen and an accompanying guardian would participate.

We are looking for teens between the ages of 12 and 17 with documented diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and who have not been diagnosed with intellectual disability. Teens do not need to have an anxiety or depression diagnosis to participate. We are looking for both adolescents who are experiencing mental health problems and those who are not.

The study would take place over Zoom and would take about an hour. Teen participants would complete a brief IQ test and complete interview questions. The accompanying parent or guardian would complete survey questions.

You would each receive a $25 Amazon gift card after participating ($50 total).

Thank you for your assistance.
