Emotional Regulation
Everyone has stressful times when maintaining emotional balance and calm becomes challenging. Autistic individuals can experience overwhelm from a variety of stressors like sensory overload, disrupted routines, and exhaustion from masking–consciously or subconsciously hiding Autistic traits.
