The purpose of the study is to explore the lived experiences of autistic adults, specifically around masking, sensory needs, and self-expression by using the Art Therapy approach. The goal is to understand the use of different materials used to communicate or cope with different emotions and to inform the development of truly neuro-affirming clinical practices in a group with 4-5 participants. This study will be done under the guidance of my faculty supervisor, Ariel Argueso, LCAT, ATCS, ATR-BC. This is an IRB approved study. This study is IRB Approved.
