Research Study Description

The purpose of this study is to learn more about autistic adults’ experiences and perceptions of their ability to maintain employment. Participants must be autistic adults who have worked 30 hours per week in the past 3 years, as well as be able to communicate in and understand English.

The study will consist of one 45-minute interview either on Zoom or in person. Participants can use their preferred communication style, such as typing in the Zoom chat or having their camera off. During the interview, you will be asked to complete an activity ranking items related to your current or former employment by importance. Participation is voluntary and you can stop at any time. There is no direct benefit to you, but this research may benefit autistic employees in the future and will help occupational therapists better support their needs.
