Research Study Description

What is the study about?
We are studying how autistic young adults do community activities, such as social and recreation, leisure, religious and/or volunteering activities. We also want to learn autistic young adults’ thoughts on how community activities relate to their well-being.

Who can participate?
Autistic young adults who are 18-30 years old and live in the U.S.

What will participants be doing?
One survey (between 30-60 minutes)
Optional one interview (between 30-60 minutes)

Why is this important?
Community participation is important for health and well-being. However, we do not know much about how autistic young adults experience doing community activities. To create better resources and support for them, we need to study whether and how community participation contributes to their well-being.
