Research Study Description

What’s the study about?
We are interested in your perspective! The Clinical Neuroscience Laboratory at Case Western Reserve University is enrolling individuals ages 13-17 in a study interested in the emotions and experiences of autistic individuals and learning more about their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Who can participate?
Autistic Teens (13-17)

What will participants be doing?
This study includes a:
1) 2-3 hour interview session that includes questionnaires and interviews with a researcher.
2) An optional 1-hour session that includes doing some simple tasks.

Where will this study take place?
Online via Zoom

Why is this important?
Understanding autistic individuals’ perspectives is important for improving how clinicians interact with clients and conduct assessments. If we can identify barriers for completing interviews then we can address them and improve autistic individuals’ experiences with clinicians.
