Research Study Description

This is a virtual study that aims to understand positive mental health factors that may protect against anxiety and depression in autistic adolescents.

You and your child may be eligible to participate if:

1. Your child is between the ages of 12 and 17
2. Your child has a documented diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
3. Your child does not have intellectual disability
4. Your child does not need to have an anxiety or depression diagnosis to participate. We are looking for both adolescents who are experiencing mental health problems and those who are not

Both you and your child would participate in this study. The study would take place over Zoom and would take about an hour. Your child would complete a brief IQ test, and both you and your child would complete interview and survey questions.

You and your child would each receive a $25 Amazon gift card after participating.

Thank you for your assistance.
