Hello,

We are Dr. Meredith Maroney (UMass Boston) and Dr. Jessie Greenlee (Lafayette College). We conduct neuro-affirming research with a particular focus on the intersection with LGBTQ+ identities and mental health. We are currently recruiting participants for a study exploring the experiences of neurodivergent queer couples.

Study Title: Exploring the Identity Development and Coping Experiences of Neurodivergent Queer Couples

This study might be a good fit for you if you are:

-Have been in a relationship for two years or longer
-One or more partners are Autistic (self-identify or formal diagnosis)
-Partners identify as queer (broadly defined as lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer and/or transgender, nonbinary, gender diverse)
-Are comfortable participating in a spoken interview and shared task where you talk about your relationship

Participation in this study includes:
-Completing a brief eligibility survey and Zoom screening call (with video on) to confirm couples’ meet criteria for participation
-Completing an online interview together (60 minutes) and a shared task (20-30 minutes); estimated total time is 75-90 minutes per couple
-Interview will be audio recorded; task will be video recorded
-Both will be completed in one sitting with all partners
-Optional step: Providing feedback on results
