Research Study Description

Hello! My name is Ming and I’m excited to invite you to take part in my research on exploring the characteristics of neurodiverse couples’ relationships and their counselling experience. Together we will be able to help associated professionals to better understand the dynamics of neurodiverse relationships, so that they can work more effectively with neurodiverse couples. It will also encourage including the neurodiverse couples’ voices in the research field.

Participants Requirement:
– Couples aged above 18 years old and are in autistic neurodiverse relationships;
– At least one of the partners experienced some forms of talking therapy in the past 6 months.

Participation involves an one-off interview, you will decide how you’d like to tell me your experience, this can be in written format, via virtual meetings, and through telephone calls, or in other ways that you feel more comfortable with. You and your partner will be interviewed individually, as it is essential to include both partners’ perspectives for a better understanding.

Should you have any questions about the research process, please feel free to contact me at [email protected].
