Research Study Description

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is recruiting current 2- and 4-year undergraduate college students between 18-25 years within the United States who identify as having autism spectrum disorder, Asperger’s, and/or pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified to participate in a research project that is hoping to better understand their experiences across one year of college.

Students will complete four visits (~1 hour each) over the course of the 2025-2026 academic year (two visits in the Fall and two in the Spring) with a member of our research team. Visits include surveys and interviews regarding college, mental health, and substance use experiences and can be completed in-person at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln or over Zoom. In addition, students can earn up to $55 for their time and participation (cash or virtual Amazon gift cards).

If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please email [email protected] or text/call 402-802-9496. A member of our research team will be more than happy to answer any questions or work with you to schedule your initial visit.
