Description

We are very excited to offer this workshop as a part of another 6 session series focused on Employment for Autistic adults, led by Sam Warner. These are discrete workshops so you are welcome to attend one or more but you will need to sign up for each individually. These workshops are for Autistic adults. They are best suited for someone who is currently working or considering working in an office environment but that is not a requirement to attend. Please note: these workshops will not be recorded. The workshops are going to be a mix of Sam sharing prepared content and an open discussion/Q&A.

Many neurodivergent individuals struggle with rule-breaking, unreasonable requests or double standards (which often happen in the workplace). Sometimes that’s because of workplace politics or because there is a clique, or no one has made a complaint before. This session will include tips on how to deal with ethical dilemmas, without getting into trouble yourself. Sam will offer tips on handling rule-breaking, and how best to challenge unreasonable requests appropriately.
