Description
We are very excited to offer this workshop as a part of another 6 session series focused on Employment for Autistic adults, led by Sam Warner. These are discrete workshops so you are welcome to attend one or more but you will need to sign up for each individually. These workshops are for Autistic adults. They are best suited for someone who is currently working or considering working in an office environment but that is not a requirement to attend. Please note: these workshops will not be recorded. The workshops are going to be a mix of Sam sharing prepared content and an open discussion/Q&A.
No one enjoys conflict and difficult conversations, especially at work. In this session Sam will explain the benefits of resolving conflict through mediation, both as a mediator and in mediation. She will also discuss preventative measures, like timing and exactly how to prepare for a mediation session. The session will also cover rapport building, which is especially useful to prevent conflict in the first place. Individuals attending this session can use this technique to resolve interpersonal issues with colleagues, managers, team leaders, supervisors or subordinates.
