Research Study Description

We (Utah State University researchers) are working on a project to make parental control tools autism friendly by accommodating needs of autistic children into the parental control tools. We are looking for reaching out to the parents having children on the spectrum, where the child is 13 years or below and uses Internet and devices regularly. We will conduct interview with parents over Zoom to understand what their needs and expectations are and what features are lacking in parental control tools for them.

We are looking to interview parents who have experiences or thoughts on inadequacy of the features in parental control for your children on the spectrum? We would love to discuss and hear your thoughts based on your experiences. It will take 30-60 minutes and we will compensate you with a $25 Amazon gift card.

Please contact researcher Prakriti Dumaru at prakriti.dumaru@usu.edu if you are interested to participate in this research.

Thank you! Your feedback and responses are valuable to keep your child safe online.
