Hi,
My name is Andrea Ivanovska, and I am a postgraduate researcher at the University of Edinburgh. I am working on a project that aims to better understand depression characteristics in neurodivergent teenagers (ages 11 to 16). The study will also look at screening tools to measure depression and assess a new depression screening tool for neurodivergent young people created by a team of other experts in the field.
We are looking for young people aged between 11-16 years with ADHD, DCD/dyspraxia, and/or autistic young people (with or without depression), and one of their parents to take part in our study. Your native language needs to be English. Teenagers and parents will join two Zoom calls four weeks apart and answer some anonymous online questionnaires. Teenagers will be awarded a £10 voucher after the second call.
If you’re interested in taking part in this study, please send me an email at a.ivanovska@sms.ed.ac.uk or take a look at the Facebook page for the study for more information https://www.facebook.com/understanding.measuring.depression email : erika.lieu@gmail.com
