Research Study Description

You are being invited to participate in a research study entitled, “Experiences and Outcomes of Suicidal Individuals with and without Autism in Emergency Departments Nationwide.” Our goal is to learn ways to improve suicide prevention services for autistic individuals in the emergency department (ED). We’d like to learn from your experience as an autistic individual that went to the ED to be treated for a suicide related crisis. We’d like to get your perspective on what it was like for you to be treated at the ED, and if there are ways the practices of the doctors and nurses could be improved. Please follow the link to fill out a survey to see if you’re eligible to participate.
