My name is Andrew Lester, and I am a senior at Babson College. I am conducting research on the experiences of employees with autism, and I’m writing today to ask if you would be able to support my research by sharing a recruitment flyer with your stakeholders (e.g., by sending it to your mailing list and/or posting it in your offices).

I am very interested in your work to help people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) gain employment. As someone who is autistic and has family members who are also autistic, I have a profound personal and professional interest in how autistic people exist in our society. I am conducting this research project because I hope to uncover experiences that can be used to help companies better support autistic employees, remove barriers, and help them thrive at work.

This research project is in partial fulfillment of my honor’s thesis requirement at Babson, and it is being supervised by Professor Emily Rosado-Solomon (copied on this email). The research involves conducting interviews with employees that have ASD, and I would particularly like to interview the people you help.

In exchange for your support in publicizing this research, I’m happy to provide you with a copy of my research findings that may shed additional light on the employment experiences of people with ASD. If there are other ways you think my research findings could be of value to your organization, I would welcome an opportunity to discuss those ideas at your convenience.
