Research Study Description

Volunteers Needed for Behavioral Healthcare Research

**Parents of Children with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are eligible to participate in a research project.

Currently recruiting participants for a research study titled “Parental Satisfaction with Direct Service Care Services for Parents with Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Disabilities.”

The study aims to explore caregivers’ perceptions of support service programs designed for children. It examines the correlations between service utilization and caregiver satisfaction, as well as the impact of caregiver involvement on educational outcomes, including attitudes and perceptions about the behavioral intervention services provided to their children who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability disorders. Potential participants are asked to participate in this study to shed light on parents’ and caregivers’ beliefs, attitudes, and perceptions regarding using behavior support services.

If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire and two instrument assessment tools that consist of questions about parent satisfaction and behavioral intervention. Your willingness to contribute your time and insights to this research study is greatly appreciated. Participation in these assessments will take 30 minutes altogether. Unfortunately, no payment will be given for your participation in each survey. If you are interested in participating in this research study, please contact the principal investigator, Nakiba Tuggle, at [email protected] or the faculty advisor, Dr. Rebecca Trenz, at [email protected] to learn more.
The Institutional Review Board (IRB) has approved this research study, ensuring it meets the highest ethical standards. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
