Research Study Description

Researchers at the Oregon Research Institute (ORI) are testing a new online tool to help caregivers play with their children with autism. This web application involves brief videos, interactive activities, and video chatting with a coach.

Inclusion Criteria:
Caregivers:
-At least 18 years of age
-A primary caregiver (i.e., living with at least half of the time) of a child with autism
-Participant has reliable Internet access in their home to access the digital intervention
-Participant can speak, read, and understand English.

Children
-Between the ages of 2.5 and 7 years
-Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Exclusion Criteria:
Caregivers:
-Younger than 18 years of age
-Not a primary caregiver of a child with autism
-Participant does not have reliable Internet access in their home
-Participant cannot speak, read, or understand English

Children:
-Younger than 2.5 years
-Older than 7 years
-Not diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
-Engages in significant challenging behavior (e.g., aggression, self-injury) that is beyond the scope of the current program to address
