This workshop, designed for families of newly diagnosed children,
describes in detail and through real-life examples, some of the most
common characteristics of AS. It also includes basic information about
behavioral issues, parenting strategies, disclosure and school concerns.
It offers “first step” help for parents as they begin their journey as parents
of a wonderfully quirky, socially awkward, sometimes precocious,
often challenging child with AS.
