Volunteer for AANE

We rely on volunteers to help run the organization at all levels. We currently have 50 long-term volunteers and many more periodic helpers. Our volunteers are adults with AS, parents, family members, friends, and professionals. Volunteering on-site at AANE is particularly rewarding for many people, offering the opportunity to mingle and socialize with other people within the AS community in a supportive, understanding environment. Anyone can be a volunteer. Volunteers stuff envelopes, collate information packets, write for our journal, meet with newcomers, help with our Gala, and facilitate support groups. AANE will be glad to find you a job that matches your availability, skills and interests.

Some jobs are at our office in Watertown, but we also welcome people throughout New England to work at our various chapters.

We also have internships available for one or two undergraduate or graduate students studying social work, non-profit management, or public policy.
